Junior Litigation Associate
The New York office of Squire Sanders, a global law firm with a 30-lawyer, growing Midtown office, seeks a litigation associate with 1 to 3 years of current, hands-on litigation experience at a busy commercial litigation law firm active primarily in the state and federal courts of New York City. The person hired for this position will support and work directly with up to eight partner-level litigators handling complex commercial, IP, maritime and bankruptcy cases in litigation and arbitration. The candidate must be licensed in the State of New York, have a strong academic record, and have a working knowledge of Federal and New York State civil procedure. Excellent writing and communication skills and some stand-up experience in court are required. License, or intention to apply for license to practice in the State of New Jersey, would be a plus.
